Reece Zunker, a devoted soccer coach at Tivy High School, and his wife Paula, a former teacher, were found dead after a catastrophic flash flood tore through Kerr County, Texas on July 4th.
The couple was vacationing near Camp Mystic when the floodwaters hit. Their two children, Lyle and Holland, are still missing.
School officials and the Kerrville community are devastated. “Coach Zunker wasn’t just a coach — he was a builder of young men,” read a tribute post by the Tivy boys soccer team.
