WATCH: As President Donald Trump prepared to head to Pittsburgh for a major economic summit, a C-SPAN camera captured something that instantly sparked concern — a visible bruise on his right hand.
While answering questions about Ukraine, Trump raised his hand — and the faint mark was impossible to miss. Although neither he nor the White House addressed it during the conference, speculation erupted across social media within minutes.
So what caused the bruise? Theories range from aggressive handshakes to long work hours and even his love for golf. In fact, this isn’t the first time. In a previous statement, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt explained, “President Trump meets more Americans daily and shakes more hands than any President in history.”
Trump himself once told Time magazine that bruising has become a norm due to “thousands of handshakes a day.”
And according to health experts, aging plays a role too — skin thins, vessels weaken, and bruises show up more easily.
But supporters still worry… Is it just another handshake? Or a sign of something deeper?
