A haunting video has surfaced on social media showing the devastating aftermath of the crash that claimed the life of Liverpool forward Diogo Jota and his brother. The footage, now circulating across Twitter/X and Telegram, captures the moment flames engulfed the wreckage of a Lamborghini Huracán on the A-52 motorway in Zamora, Spain.
According to reports, Jota’s vehicle experienced a tire blowout while overtaking — sending the car off the road where it immediately burst into flames. No other vehicles were involved.
The fire was so intense that first responders could not reach the victims until it was too late. The bodies were later identified by dental records, according to Spanish media.
Diogo Jota had just celebrated his wedding and was expected to return to Liverpool’s training camp within days. His sudden death at age 28 has rocked the football world and beyond.
WARNING: The footage is extremely graphic and not recommended for sensitive viewers.
