The post, allegedly made by a user named “Lillian Marie” on Bluesky, explicitly states that the only way to “save” the country is through political violence.

Federal law enforcement is reportedly reviewing the threats, which many are calling “an open act of domestic terrorism.” Political commentators from both sides are urging authorities to act swiftly to protect political figures and prevent copycat threats from spreading.

Even many who oppose Trump have condemned the post, saying it crosses every line of civil discourse. Threats against public officials, including former presidents, are federal crimes under U.S. law.
