Former President Donald Trump has launched an investigation into whether Joe Biden misled the public about his cognitive

health while in office. Trump alleges that Biden used an autopen—a device that replicates a signature—to authorize

executive actions without direct involvement, allowing aides to exercise presidential power and conceal Biden’s alleged decline.

Calling it “one of the most dangerous scandals in American history,” Trump claims this method enabled radical policy

decisions without public transparency. He argues Americans were “shielded” from who was truly making decisions during Biden’s presidency.

In response, Biden firmly denied the claims, stating, “I made the decisions during my presidency. Any suggestion otherwise is ridiculous and false.”

Trump’s memorandum, issued Wednesday, directs White House legal counsel and Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate whether any individuals unlawfully

wielded presidential authority. The move comes amid renewed scrutiny over Biden’s health, following his recent disclosure of prostate cancer.

Biden has dismissed the probe as a political tactic, accusing Trump of using it to deflect attention from his own agenda,

including tax cuts for the wealthy. The investigation adds tension to an already polarized political climate ahead of the next election.
