‘Wheel of Fortune’ Contestant Turns Heads After Failing To Solve This $73,000 Puzzle

On the June 4 episode of *Wheel of Fortune*, contestant Maki Asrat from Brooklyn brought energy, charm, and a near slip-up that had host

Ryan Seacrest in stitches.Competing against Anthony Monroe and Jessica Beasley, Asrat quickly stood out, solving the first two toss-up puzzles

with ease and sharing personal moments, including her emotional reactions to which Seacrest related to.She kept her momentum going with bold moves,

like flipping the Mystery Wedge to win \$10,000 after solving “Egg on Your Face Lift,” bringing her total to \$23,900.

She also won a trip to Cabo after correctly solving “Somebody’s Watching Me,” though she nearly said it wrong. Beasley, a fan of vintage cars,

scored a trip to Hawaii by solving the Prize Puzzle, while Monroe, a retired Marine, got on the board with “Dollar Signs.” Still,

Asrat led the night with \$33,900 and made it to the Bonus Round.

That’s when things got funny. The puzzle clue was “What Are You Doing?” with the board showing: “C\_ \_SING \_N \_ R \_R.”

Asrat began guessing “Cursing in… Cursing…” but couldn’t find the correct answer: “Causing an Uproar.” Seacrest burst out laughing,

teasing, “It’s like you’re desperate to say a bad word here.” Though she missed the \$40,000 prize,

Asrat walked away with nearly \$34,000 and one of the night’s most memorable moments.
